At 36B Frogmore Street is M&D Cycles, with a bicycle embedded above the name sign. On the left is Halls Furniture shop at 36A. The building looks like it was once a church. This probability is supported by the lettered suffixes of the two addresses, located between 36 and 37 Frogmore Street.

Located at the NW end of Frogmore Street, at the edge of the town's central shopping district. Evidence of the building's former use is inscribed in the stonework. On either side of the large upstairs window is YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION. In the roundel above the window is 1900.

The shops face the Station Hotel. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2129772 Shackletons is in two parts. Nearest the camera, at 24 Brecon Road, is the pharmacy. Next to it at number 22 is Shackleton's Hearing Centre and Ability Aid Centre. H.Shackleton Ltd is one of the oldest family businesses in Abergavenny, founded by George William Shackleton in spring 1873. The premises at the left is Red Dragon tattoo studio.

The surgery http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2555606 is built on the site of Brecon Road railway station, which opened in 1862, closed in 1958. It's likely that the embedded 1990 stone marks the year of construction of the current building. I don't know the significance of the 1890 date stone, which appears to be suitably weathered after more than 120 years!
