There used to be an inn at this crossroads according to the 1940s map. Now there is Gate Farm to the left and Sycamore Farm to the right. The road straight ahead is Swindler's Drove. See [[TF2723]]

These drains mark the field boundaries so, although it may appear to be one giant field it is in fact several small ones joined seamlessly to the viewer's eye. Glass houses at Sycamore Farm ([[TF2724]]) in the distance.
