Dist:0.6km<br/>The photograph was taken a few steps NW of the bridge over the Wycombe to Scaldwell road. The bridge is about 150m W of the site of Wycombe Junction (now obscured by farm buildings), where the Midland Railway line to Holwell Ironworks left the Great Northern Scalford to Eaton and Waltham on the Wolds line. Both lines carried iron ore, to Holwell and other ironworks, such as Stanton and Staveley in Derbyshire. This part of the old railway is now a farm track.
