After Victoria station closed in 1970 it became a reversing point for trains from Huddersfield to Sheffield, and carriage sidings. Here, loco no 45104 "The Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers" backs onto a rake of carriages, presumably to take them into Midland station.

Dist:0.7km south<br/>An old farmhouse on the Sheffield Manor Estate of the Duke of Norfolk. This was once part of the deer park surrounding Sheffield Manor and is now a green oasis surrounded by urban development.
