In the Architecture Space

A new exhibition of original black and white photographic portraits depict a selection of the contributors to the Royal Academy's Architecture Programme from 2004-2008. Photographer Alexander McIntyre was commissioned by The Royal Academy to depict the subjects - leading architects, artists, historians and thinkers who have all contributed to the Royal Academy's unique and multifaceted architecture programme- placing the sitter in dialogue with an architectural setting, in and around the RA.

This exhibition is in two parts:

Part I: 15 August-4 November 2008 (in The Architecture Space)
Part II: 16 September-9 January 2009 (on The Norman Shaw stairs). Read more »

David Chipperfield Architects presents two current UK projects - The Hepworth Wakefield in West Yorkshire, due to open at the end of 2009, and the Turner Contemporary in Margate, due to open in Autumn 2010.
