Dist:0.1km<br/>This shallow pond in front of the houses was once a dry dock, running at right angles to the quay at Wivenhoe. It has been filled in and a shallow pond created.

Dist:0.2km<br/>A public footpath leading to Fingringhoe Mill follows the edge of the quay; a yellow 'man' can be seen on the ground in the foreground. The existence of this path must have caused difficulties when the quay was in use (prior to 2001), as mobile cranes and other heavy machinery would have been operating in the area, loading and discharging ships.

Dist:0.2km<br/>The remains of a former landing stage lie just south of Rowhedge Wharf. This low water view reveals assorted rubbish in the mud, including an old bicycle.
