Dist:0.3km<br/>This is a narrow, steep valley with tiny Pitty Beck in the bottom. The inadequacy of the modern stream to produce such a valley indicates that the valley was probably formed by glacial meltwater at the end of the last ice age.

Dist:0.4km<br/>This is a Royal Observer Corps bunker, a relic of the Cold War and no longer in use. They are scattered around the country - this is the third that I have found in West Yorkshire. There are several websites devoted to them - just search for "ROC bunker".
