Presumably they were put out on pasture only recently and are not yet familiar with their new surroundings, and hence insecure and timid.

Dist:0.4km<br/>Coming out of Wickmere and heading towards Aldborough, this house occupies a strategic position on the corner. The end gable (south facing) has the best decorative brickwork - but this (western) facade isn't bad, either.

Dist:0.4km<br/>This sign appears to serve two villages 2 km. apart - see [[TG1631]] for Wolterton. I have called the housing behind "council houses" but of course these days who knows if they have been bought by tenants, transferred to a housing association or what?
