Dist:0.6km<br/>The lane up to Peasedown is on the left, straight on down the hill to Wicklane and Camerton. The signpost stands on what might be called the village green, but Carlingcott was a mining village and had little time for such fripperies. That road was very icy but there were a few patches that could be walked on.

Dist:1.0km<br/>Near the junction with Stoneage Lane (to the left), The steep hill ahead leads to Withyditch. Very icy today. Tip: in icy conditions like this it is usually a good idea to put your nearside wheels as close to the edge of the road as reasonably possible where there is often some extra grip.
