A line of trees up the middle of the grazing indicates that this used to be two fields divided by the line of trees (presumably originally part of a hedge). The snow (now starting to melt) reduces the bare winter trees to silhouettes - this photo is in full colour ! The sheep are mostly huddled at the bottom of the field near the gate where their hay gets delivered, and there are but few tracks across the main part of the field.
