Dist:0.4km<br/>Watermill probably from the end of the 18th century with evvidence to suggest it was designed by William Hazeldine of Bridgnorth. The surviving machinery is almost certainly victorian and includes an overshot waterwheel, two sets of stones and a sack-hoist. The wheel will turn but the wallower is broken. This floor has been refurbished the sack hoist is about the only original feature. There was no access onto the floor and this was taken from as high up the stairs as one was allowed to go.

This shows partially clothed stones on the right with the damsel standing on its own. The horse, hopper, shoe etc are missing. The main shaft has had the crown wheel cut off and the drive to the sack hoist was to the right but is largely missing. The floor boards above have been renewed and the trap doors and hoist drive have been lost.

Dist:0.4km<br/>The overshot wheel is seen turning. The water is now supplied by a plastic pipe in the original pentrough. The tailrace is not draining very well and the water is backing up and hindering the wheel.

Dist:0.4km<br/>The original dam was knocked down in 1916 or 1917 and the mill ceased to work. This is a more recent pond lined with 450 tons of clay. It is fed by field drains, natural springs and rainwater. The bridge is wobbly, like the Millennium Bridge in London once was.
