Dist:0.4km<br/>This old corrugated trailer, with pneumatic tyres, seems to belong to someone calling himself 'Broom Squire' and 'Traditional Woodsman' involved in coppicing. Just behind the woodyard is the remains of an old wall surrounding a walled garden.

Dist:0.4km<br/>A concrete tower, about 60 years old but origin unknown and purpose unknown. The inside of the tower is completely empty and there is no roof. There is evidence that there once was a structure inside the tower which has been removed. The tower is sunken slightly into a pit so that the entrance is slightly below the natural ground level.

The tower is on private property, but about 150 yards from a public right of way and screened on one side by woodland such that it cannot be seen from any public road.

Dist:0.6km<br/>Unusual pyramidal monument to Thomas Rackett (died 1840) and his wife Dorothy (died 1833). Part of the inscription reads "Talents were not confined to the exercise of ordinary Parochial duties, they extended themselves to the Promotion and Cultivation of the various useful Arts which soften the asperity of human nature." In other words, he was an absentee vicar, whose absences caused villagers to convert to Catholicism, and complain to the House of Lords.
