Dist:0.3km north<br/>The Gatehouse and some associated walls are all that remains of West Drayton Manor, which was owned by William Paget, an ambassador and courtier of both King Henry VIII and King Edward VI. The manor house itself was demolished around 1750 and the gatehouse has been substantially rebuilt on several occasions. The gatehouse featured prominently on the shield of the coat of arms of the former Yiewsley and West Drayton Urban District Council which was incorporated into the London Borough of Hillingdon in 1965.

Dist:0.3km north<br/>The church mainly dates from the 15th century with some 12th and 13th century fragments. It is mostly built of flint rubble, although the three-stage west tower has quoins of alternating brick and stone. There is a small newel turret on the north side of the tower, probably at the top of a staircase that gives access to the different levels of the tower including the roof. Architecturally these staircases gave strength to large towers, particularly one such as this which had not got any supporting buttresses. The newel turret has a wooden cupola on top. The churchyard is enclosed inside the walls of the former Drayton manor house. This view was taken from the north-western corner of the churchyard late on a winter's afternoon. The roof of the building to the left shows where the sun's rays reached and melted the frost and where the frost stayed in the shade all day.

Dist:0.5km south<br/>Erected by the Urban District Council of Yiewsley & West Drayton, the local authority prior to the creation of Hillingdon Borough Council in the 1970s. This simple memorial bears the words 'To the fallen 1914 - 1918 1939 - 1945 Lest we forget' and Laurence Binyon's famous poem. It also bears the crest of the Royal British Legion and of the old council, which includes on its crest the Old Gatehouse [[1754123]].
