The freight train has originated from France and has run via Wembley yard with a final run round move at Acton Canal wharf to access the warehouse, which is behind the photographer and beyond the North Circular Road. Note the underground railway on the left and the remains of the coal depot on the right of the freight service.

Dist:0.3km north<br/>Taken from the footbridge at the side of the North Circular Road, this is the Chiltern Railways line looking in the direction of London Marylebone, with [[725401]] to the left, [[725514]] to the right, and [[725944]] behind the photographer.

Dist:0.3km north<br/>The railway line on the left is the freight only link between Neasden Junction and the line to Wembley. On the right is a somewhat rickety siding, and beyond that the B4557 Great Central Way.

Dist:0.3km north<br/>The tracks on either side of the central platform are used by Jubilee Line trains while Metropolitan Line trains operate on the outer ones. A fast northbound Metropolitan Line train for Uxbridge passes through the station.

Dist:0.4km north<br/>The tracks to the right lead under the cable rack arch into London Underground's Neasden Depot, which provides repair and maintenance and train stabling facilities. Just beyond the arch is the only level crossing on the London Underground network.

Dist:0.5km north<br/>Trains running on the Chiltern Railways routes out of London Marylebone diverge here, to the left for Wembley Stadium, High Wycombe, Princes Risborough and Banbury, to the right for Harrow-on-the-Hill, Rickmansworth, Amersham and Aylesbury. The pale blue bridge on the left carries the B4557 Great Central Way over the railway, while the yellow locomotives parked in the siding may have some special function.

Dist:0.5km north<br/>Viewed looking from the footbridge by the main A406 North Circular Road bridge, the inner two through tracks are used by Jubilee Line trains while the outer ones are used by the Metropolitan Line. Here a northbound Jubilee Line train has just left Neasden station heading for Wembley Park and then Stanmore.

Dist:0.5km north<br/>The wind turbines are two of a group of four on the roof of Datapoint House, 400 North Circular Road. Datapoint House is a development of mixed industrial and office units and the installation of wind turbines is part of the developers' bid to attain a high BREEAM (Buildings Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) rating for the building.
