Dist:0.3km<br/>This is the smaller section of Brent Reservoir north of Cool Oak Bridge. It was closed as a sailing base in 2004, leaving the wildfowl undisturbed.

Dist:0.4km<br/>The reservoir was created by the construction of a dam across the River Brent which was built between 1833 and 1835, and extended in 1854, in order to provide water for the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal. The Grand Union Canal, and their successors, British Waterways, owned or own the reservoir, which has also been known as the Kingsbury Reservoir and the Welsh Harp Reservoir in the past. This is the northern section, viewed from Cool Oak Bridge, and is fed by the Silk Stream.

Dist:0.4km<br/>Originally built to bypass the winding Cool Oak Lane, by the time the estate were built the council changed their mind and left a wide straight road that led nowhere. It extended a few yards across Kinloch Drive at the end where the extension began and was given to the houses either side of it to use as part of their gardens.
