Dist:0.6km<br/>London Underground extends into the Buckinghamshire countryside. A single track branch line from Chalfont & Latimer runs to Chesham. This view is taken from the road bridge near Chesham Bois. The bridge parapet has been fitted with grilles, hence the dark stripes up either side of the image. The blue arch carries lineside cables across the track. The trains are powered by electricity - the rail in the middle of the track, and the one furthest to the right, are the electrification system.
