CoolTan Arts’ Largactyl Shuffle Midnight Walk

Join a fun, guided midnight stroll through London on the midsummer solstice! The walk theme is 'Light' so bring along torches, lamps or glowsticks and dress to impress in your best evening wear or light up clothes! L.E.D wristbands and bowties will be available for sale at the start of the walk.

Cast wishes and light candles on the edge of the Thames and hear talks on London’s secret history - including tales of Charles Dickens' night walks and the resurrection men. We will also be having a midnight feast at a secret location with food kindly provided by the Breakfast Club!

Mad Hatters’ Tea Party

CoolTan Arts Men’s Cooking Club

Arts in mental health charity CoolTan Arts have started a free cooking club for men with experience of mental distress. The brand new ‘Men’s Cooking Club’ will run weekly workshops exploring healthy eating, beneficial for both mental and physical health.
The evening sessions provide a fun, sociable and relaxed atmosphere to learn. The focus is on making quick and simple recipes, giving participants the skills to cook their own food easily on a budget.
Workshops run every Tuesday evening from 5.30pm to 8.30pm until Dec 2015 at CoolTan Arts Community Kitchen, Third Floor, 224-236 Walworth Road, SE17 1JE.
CoolTan’s community kitchen space is suitable for wheelchair users and people of all abilities. The sessions are suitable for all levels of kitchen experience, no previous cooking experience necessary.
Attendance is open to all men with previous experience of mental distress (self-defined).

This night is unplugged (an exception can be made for our electric piano!)so we are on the lookout for acoustic acts or bands who play acoustically or who want try an unplugged set. Plus if you are a writer/ reader or poet then get in touch too! All acts will get 10 - 15 minutes to showcase themselves and as we won’t be charging entry to help you get the best possible audience, we do ask that you make sure that you bring just one friends along with you and stay and support everyone playing. This way everyone will get a good audience, have a fun night, do a bit of networking and hopefully gain lots of new fans and friends! Old Rosie Cider and Doom Bar ale on tap!!!
