Dist:0.3km north<br/>This is Swanbourne block, facing Walworth Road. Swanbourne is one of the first blocks to be cleared of residents as part of Southwark Council's plan to demolish the entire estate, which was originally built between 1970 and 1974. The unfortunate effect of this is that the remaining tenants are obliged to live temporarily amongst empty boarded up flats. There are many reports of the empty flats being used as crack houses which must make living here almost unbearably unpleasant.
