Dist:0.6km<br/>Until 2005 heavy traffic thundered along here on the A1 dual carriageway. Now the road is in semi retirement, one carriageway being reduced to a cycle path, whilst the other carries light traffic as the A168. The A1 Motorway is a little further to the east. I note that the OS map extract on the Geograph site wrongly labels the road as 'A1' despite showing the A1[M] as well.
