This date stone can be found on the City Limits Youth Service building in Thornhill Street, which shows it first opened as the Methodist Primary School in 1846. [[946011]]

Apple House, No.24 Trinity Church Gate, is a Grade II listed building dating back to the early-mid C19. I can find no further information on its history. Trinity Church Gate was named after Holy Trinity Church which was located on nearby George Street, and demolished in the 1980s.
