Dist:0.1km north<br/>When Croydon's new trams arrived, they were given fleet numbers from 2530 up, to follow on from the last of the old London trams. They were commissioned by running them between the Therapia Lane depot and Wandle Park. Here car No. 2533 is seen at the latter place.

Dist:0.1km north<br/>Looking north towards Wandle Park. There is no exit for vehicles at the far end, but there is a tram stop with frequent services to the centre of Croydon and also to Wimbledon.

Dist:0.3km north<br/>Looking southwest along the tramline, it climbs onto the flyover which takes it over the West Croydon to Waddon railway line, which is off picture to the right. In the days before the tramway was constructed, there was a flat railway junction here. At the extreme left of the picture is the 'Pitlake Arms', popular with the student body, who refer to it affectionately as 'The Pit'.
