<br/>The Dr. Martens Stand (formerly the West Stand) is the newest and by far largest stand inside Upton Park, holding up to 15,000 spectators. The stand was built in 2001, bringing the stadium capacity up from around 26,000 to 35,647. The stand was officially opened by HM The Queen, where Her Majesty was introduced to the manager and captain at the time, Glenn Roeder and Joe Cole.

Dist:0.2km north<br/>The two tier Dr Martens Stand holds unaccustomed rivalries as Grays fans (blue, far end) sit by Woking fans (red, near end) at the 2006 Cup Final for English Non-league teams. Grays won 2-0.

Dist:0.2km north<br/>This is West Ham United's ground, sometimes known as the Boleyn Ground. The far stand is the [Sir] Bobby Moore Stand, blue with Grays fans, while the one on the right is the Dr Martens Stand, red with Woking fans. This was taken at the FA Trophy Final.

Dist:0.3km north<br/>Unusual to see a bus in anything other than London Transports imposed red livery especially one owned by East London Bus Group. This bus is a Scania N113CRL/Wright Pathfinder. Its base is Upton Park bus garage which is the largest garage in the east end of London, Upton Park was opened by the LRCC in 1907 but was requisitioned for the war effort in 1915 and was not returned to use until 1919. In 1931 it was totally revamped and enlarged to create a capacity of just over 200 buses

Dist:0.4km north<br/>This station is on Green Street, at the corner of Queen's Road. The station is served by the District Line, and the Hammersmith and City Line. The line from Fenchurch Street to Southend goes straight past without stopping.
