Dist:0.2km<br/>The footpath from Michelham Priory Farm runs through this part of St Bede's School playing fields on its way to the village post office.The footpath follows the old lane to Upper Dicker before it was diverted to the south. Prior to enclosures in the early 19th century much of the area was one large common known as Dicker Common, the large number of public footpaths and bridleways a legacy of the routes people took to enter, exit and cross the common.

Dist:0.3km<br/>Originally built in the early 15th C the mill has been restored twice in the last century. The most recent restoration was completed almost 8 years ago and was part Lottery funded. Volunteers undertook a lot of the work and the Mill is now operated by a team of enthusiastic volunteer staff who are justly proud of the fine flour they produce from organic grain. They are a bit short of water due to the dry summer (2011) but still managed to demonstrate the machinery in action. Water is drawn from the moat.
