Dist:0.6km<br/>The road was opened on 8 October 2004 to bypass the villages of Wadesmill, Thundridge, High Cross and Colliers End, and linked up with the existing bypasses on the A10 around Ware to the south and Puckeridge to the north. Here the bypass sweeps up the hill out of the valley of the River Rib.

Dist:0.8km<br/>Like so many tarmac'd farm roads there is a healthy growth of grass up the middle. The crop on the right awaits harvesting (though the perimeter has been cut). On the left the ground has been tilled and left to the weeds. Whilst checking the map in the car after taking this photo, three large trucks drove down this road; Shame, they would have given some life to the scene.
