Dist:0.5km<br/>Standing just across the road from the 1889 Methodist chapel is this dwelling, which is also a converted chapel. There is no clue as to its date or denomination on the building, but an early edition OS map marks it as a Wesleyan Methodist chapel, so it is likely that this was the original chapel in the village.

Dist:0.5km<br/>The street frontage of Thoralby village hall is quite different to the side facing the car park [see other photo], as here is an early 18th century porch on what was presumably a village farmhouse. The porch is dated 1704 and has the initials MS.
