Dist:0.3km<br/>This field has been planted in stages. The earlier planting on the left is drying off in the sun. The section being planted to the right is darker with a damper surface. The turning strip around the edge of the field will be completed last. Probably a three-day process for such a large field.

The public footpath cuts left-to-right across the middle of this large field, which would be hard going for the walker! The sensible solution is to skirt around the edge, but even this required some energy. Red sandstone soil, typical of Herefordshire.
