Dist:0.5km<br/>In the trees to the right is the site of a disused railway line, the former Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway. Built by the Midland Railway and London & South-Western railways, it ran from Bath (Green Park) station to Bournemouth. It was closed in 1966.

The centre of Bath is in the middle of the frame, further over and slightly to the right Little Solsbury Hill ST7667 appears. Left from there we have part of Charmy Down then the slope up to Lansdown. St.Stephen's Church, sans scaffolding, is there but not easily seen.

Interestingly there appears to be a DPC below it, giving rise to suspicions that it has been repositioned on site when the wall was rebuilt. The OS lists it as being here, but the accuracy must surely be questioned.
