The dividing steep slope is wooded. This is the Long Wood and it runs 3km south to Kimbolton. The northern end is shown here.

Dist:0.9km<br/>A Worcestershire style finger post - these were common in the 1970s and spread to Herefordshire after the annexation in 1974. Most have rotted away or been replaced by metal ones now, but some survive in dark corners. They were most attractive in their prime.
