Dist:0.4km<br/>Lyneham sits on a plateau overlooking a broad valley containing, inter alia, an old canal, two railways and the M4 motorway. The line of trees in the distance approximately marks the edge of the plateau. Beyond that is the other side of the valley, south of Brinkworth.
