Dist:0.6km<br/>I haven't discovered why this area, and this former farm, go by the name of Tangiers - irony? but more likely, it has been suggested, a corruption of the Welsh Tan Groes/below the crossroads. Standing on the A40 which runs due north here towards Fishguard, it faces the top end of Withybush airfield across the road.
