Dist:0.6km<br/>This is a very neat church and nicely proportioned. The Perpendicular windows match each other perfectly and the thatch on the roof is the ideal foil for the grey dressed flint of the walls. Both tower and church are 15th c. with a rebuilt porch that contains a deep stoup. The re-cut font has quatrefoil designs around the octagonal bowl. The nave is well lit despite not having a clerestory. Above is the wide span of the timber-lined arch-braced roof. At the apex, various carved bosses can be seen. On the right is the pulpit, and on the left is a beautifully carved lectern in the form of an angel. Behind her the base of the screen has tracery panels with unspoiled paintings of eight saints; Andrew, Peter, Jude, Simon, James the Great, John, Thomas and James the Less.
