City Jogging Club - Streatham Common
The City Jogging Club provides a friendly, welcoming environment for joggers who would like to get fit and have fun. All abilites are welcome to join us at our Wednesday evening sessions @7pm. We cater especially for new and non-competitive recreational runners - we offer 12 week 'beginner jogger' courses for those new to jogging.
All members receive the 'Jogging Club Pack', which includes a water bottle, online community and support, 20% discount voucher for Runners Need (specialist running shop) and a complimentary ticket for s sightseeing 'City Jogging Tour' of London.
The Brixton Pound

5 & 7 A-SIDE FOOTBALL LEAGUES
Hi all,
I'm currently running a 7 a-side football league at Elmgreen school in Tulse Hill (SE27 9BZ). 3 out of the 6 teams are made up from local individuals wanting to play with like minded people, without the extreamly high costs that some companies charge.
I'm starting 2 new leagues in June and July at the same location but with a slightly different format.
Format - 5 a-side (up to 3 subs allowed)
Game times - between 6.30pm and 8.30pm
Team cost - £25 per game (£5 per player, team of 5)
Game length - 30mins
Season length - 14 weeks
Start date - Tues - 12th July, Weds - 22nd June
I provide a qualified ref, balls/bibs, trophies and an online fixtures, results table service.
All you have to do is turn up and play!

This new free weekly Monday night event will be held in the cosy fun front bar; the perfect chilled Monday night after a mad weekend...
This night is unplugged (an exception can be made for our electric piano!)so we are on the lookout for acoustic acts or bands who play acoustically or who want try an unplugged set. Plus if you are a writer/ reader or poet then get in touch too! All acts will get 10 - 15 minutes to showcase themselves and as we won’t be charging entry to help you get the best possible audience, we do ask that you make sure that you bring just one friends along with you and stay and support everyone playing. This way everyone will get a good audience, have a fun night, do a bit of networking and hopefully gain lots of new fans and friends! Old Rosie Cider and Doom Bar ale on tap!!!
