The name of the field according to the 1838 tithe map. What were three small fields have been enlarged to become one, the titular field was at the northern, Two Acres lay across the middle whilst Lower Meadow was in the tip to the south. The hedgerow on the left marks the Streat-Plumpton parish boundary.

The field has also lost part of its area to a house. Pumpkins for halloween are loaded on the trays whilst a little white blob in the distance on the right is Chailey Windmill.

A former Roman road that linked Barcombe with the former Roman station at Hardham near Pulborough runs somewhere through the middle of the field. The rooftop to the right marks Crouchers Farm whilst beyond the brow of the hill the northern scarp slope of the South Downs is just visible.

The bush contains an old shed or small barn whilst the Sussex Greensand Way, a Roman Road that once linked Barcombe Mills to the Roman station at Hardham runs along the crest of the ridge.

Much of the field system on the southern slope of the ridge that carries Ashurst Wood has been changed beyond recognition even from the 1970s though the lines of bushes in the distance demarcate the boundaries of lost fields. However, the hedgerow on the right is older being the parish boundary between Plumpton and Streat.
