The Labrador Rescue Trust
The Labrador Rescue Trust
Registered Charity No: 1088198
‘Do Labradors really need to be rescued?’
A frequent statement, but unfortunately a very sad truth. With over 45,000 Labrador puppies registered with The Kennel Club every year, this is just the tip of the iceberg. With such numbers, it is inevitable that some will need help.
The Labrador Rescue Trust has been helping Labradors in need for over 20 years and currently helps between 600-700 dogs a year in the South West. Everyone involved with The Trust is a volunteer and between us there is a wealth of knowledge and experience with Labradors. We all love the breed and we need other people to love them too!
The welfare of the dogs is paramount. All our Helpers are unpaid volunteers and all funds raised go to help in the re-homing of needy Labradors.

Mitcham Oddfellows
The Oddfellows is a not for profit friendly society with members nationwide and beyond.
Our aim is to improve the quality of life of our members, enabling them to get the most out of life. We offer a fantastic range of benefits and services ranging from social events to care and advice, and from travel clubs to cash back on dental and optical treatment.
Members meet on a regular basis and enjoy taking part in a variety of social activities including anything from quiz nights to group holidays, as well as just getting together for a chat.
Helping People: The Oddfellows has its origins at the time of the medieval guilds and gave support to journeymen and their families. The Society became national in 1810 to help protect and care for its members, at a time when there were no trade unions, no welfare state and no National Health Service. Today it is international. This tradition of helping people has continued to the present day.
All members and their families have access to the Oddfellows Care Service, which provides advice on all aspects of care and health concerns no matter how big or small. Members also have access to the Oddfellows Advice Service provided in conjunction with the Citizens Advice Bureau. Fully trained advisors provide a quick and efficient service covering a vast range of topics.
Join the Oddfellows and enjoy the benefits and services that come with membership. Activity Events / Help and Support / Become Involved / Young Oddfellows.
