Benham Park is a Georgian mansion which was built for Lord Craven in 1775. It is now an office complex and the entrance is now at the other end of the park near the A4/A34 junction.

This must be one of the very few post offices in the country, which also offers bed and breakfast. It is also the village store, and there is a small coffee area.

This pub on the B4000, Ermin Street, until recently named Rybaks, has now reverted back to its old name, The Lord Lyon - named after a famous racehorse which won the Triple Crown in 1866 and was owned by Lord Sutton who also owned much of the surrounding land. It was only in the last 30 years, though, that the name was changed and older villagers in Stockcross still refer to it as The Nag's Head.

A long established pub with restaurant, which is owned by Arkell's Brewery of Swindon, Wiltshire. For a few years it went under the name of Rybaks, but has now reverted to its previous name. The pub's name derives from a famous racehorse, which one the Triple Crown back in 1866. The owner was Lord Sutton, who was a major landowner in this area. His family still own land here today.
