There, as here, the surface is being heavily rutted from use by off-road vehicles and plant life damaged or even destroyed.

Dist:0.6km<br/>This tunnel is under the Stenwith road at Stenwith Bridge. The long distance cycleway follows the Grantham Canal for several miles. Here a separate tunnel takes the footpath and cycle route under the road as there is no path under the bridge.

Dist:0.6km<br/>A line built by the Great Northern Railway and opened in 1893 and closed in 1977. It accessed various mineral lines used in connection with the extraction of ironstone and never had a passenger service. It is now part of the National Cycle Network.
