Dist:0.7km<br/>On this clear day, the local flying club had taken to the air. No fewer than six small aeroplanes can be seen, three in close formation at the bottom of the main cloud and three further apart in the shadow of the main cloud. Flying north.

Dist:0.7km<br/>Whiterails Road heads left, an alternative route from Newport to Wootton Bridge and Ryde. Blacklands Road goes off half right, another popular short cut. On the corner, prominently displaying its presence, is the entrance to Isle of Wight Lavender, about half a mile south on a farm track not shown on the 1:50K map.

Dist:0.8km<br/>No official name for this overgrown footpath between New Fairlee Farm and Little Fairlee Farm (what happened to Old and Big?) So I have called it Moth Path because there were thousands of moths in and amongst the damp grasses after gentle rain.
