The tube station which serves the District and Piccadilly lines, is situated in the north west corner of the square.

Turnham Green is characterised by commercial enterprises that reflect a cosmopolitan society. All sorts of foods from different cultures are easily available in this area. This shop is situated in the street leading off the A205 to the tube station north of it.

Another typical past time of many British people. Betting shops are frequently found in many towns and cities. This one is situated in the road leading off the A205 to Turnham Green Tube station, north of it.

This small area of park is situated alongside the rails of the tube system and provides a welcome seat or two for workers wanting to eat out at lunch time (it seems they left a few crumbs behind). It can be found in the north western section of the grid square. The picture was taken looking south west, thus the residential area is just visible between the trees.

The flower seller is situated outside the entrance to the tube station. The bridge over the road is to the west of the station and the park is just visible in the back ground.

The alleyway Wilson Walk gives access to Stamford Brook tube station from the west, and also to business premises in the archways under the railway.

This is the entrance in Prebend gardens to Frey Clement who have a workshop under the railway arches by Stamford Brook tube station.

The arches in Wilson Walk under the railway by Stamford Brook house a number of businesses. The closer one in the photo with green paint has a small swimming pool for teaching children. The next is Sports Dimensions http://www.sportdimensionsshop.net/aboutus.asp supplying "Acceleration, Strength and Power conditioning and Rehabilitation training" for athletes.

This is the headquarters and rehearsal studio of Rambert Dance Company http://www.rambert.org.uk/about_rambert . They are planning to move to purpose-built premises.
