Set in 66 acres of riverside parkland, its construction was begun in 1724. Dist:0.2km north<br/>This was a raft on the Thames on which a somewhat eccentric homeless man lived. He could often be seen cycling around collecting junk on a small trailer. He was quite harmless, and there was a protest from locals when the Council tried to evict him. Can anyone provide any more details on this, and tell us what happened to him?
