Testimonial:
I just wanted to write and thank you for your talk at the Blue Elephant the other week. It was great to hear someone talk so normally about something that seems to worry actors a lot, and has certainly worried me in the past. You really represented a sound networking ideal for me!

Photography in Highgate Wood

I've lived right next to Highgate Wood since 1968 and I've always appreciated its outstanding beauty. I went through the Wood today on my way to the Post Office to pick up a package and decided to take photos of the snow on the way.
I took a photo of one of the pathways and there was a young man walking his dog coming towards me as I took the shot. I wasn't interested in him; I just wanted a nice picture.
He was extremely aggressive towards me when he reached me, stating that I should have asked his permission to take his photograph. He then called me a "rude fat bast**d". I am overweight but I consider myself generally to be a polite person and I'm sure my parents were married when they had me.
I wasn't rude to him in any way. I had just taken a photo that happened to include him in the distance and maybe he considered that to be rude. Has anyone else had any bad experiences while taking photos in Highgate?
