Welcome to Southville. This is a guide to the Southville area.

This church was built in 1802 on the site of an older building. The church has a list of incumbents going back to 1322.

The Church Centre, next door to the Church, was originally the Vicarage. From 1976 it has served as a Centre for many Church and Community activities.

This church is Feltham's parish church but it is distant today from the suburb's busy centre. Feltham shopping centre is about a mile east of the church, along the High Street. The old village centre is around the church. This is Feltham after a "severe weather warning"! An inch or two of snow which had mainly melted by noon.

Dist:1.0km east<br/>On the High Street and facing the redeveloping Shopping Centre. Old rows of shops there are interspersed with be=rand new blocks of flats with new shops below them. Handy for Yuppies commuting to London! One morning of snow in Feltham before it was washed away.

Dist:1.0km east<br/>This is a surprisingly smart-looking street for Feltham which has many streets of sprawling suburbia. The houses here are detached and have a good aspect over pond and green towards the shopping centre which is currently being redeveloped. In the background, on the right is the Red Lion pub.

Dist:1.0km south<br/>BP first started using the Sunbury site in 1917 when they took over a mansion called Meadhurst. Laboratories, offices and other facilities were built, but in the mid-1990s the whole site began to be progressively redeveloped. This is the triangular Building D. The old Meadhurst mansion was located where Building F now exists. The roundabout is on Chertsey Road which runs through the site.

Dist:1.0km east<br/>Located on the site of the former Hanworth Air Park WW2 fighters were made and repaired. The air park was closed in 1946 and today it is occupied by leisure facilities and warehousing. The steeple on the skyline is the former St Catherine's church.
