Dist:0.2km<br/>Wood was scattered for miles along the south coast from Worthing to Brighton after a ship's load was lost in rough seas. The accident occurred a day or two before photo was taken. Southwick Power Station is a little further in the distance.

The beach to the left is the western limit of a naturist beach which may account for the strange grunting noises coming from between the rocks as I walked up and the appearance of a nude pensioner soon after. The people to the right are making their way to the end of the outfall to start fishing.
