The LH plus arrow on the gasholder refers to London Heathrow, it is intended to point planes there and prevent them accidentally landing at Northolt Airport instead -- the runway there is shorter and they may be unable to take off again. You would hope that pilots don't actually need reminding all that often!

Dist:0.8km west<br/>Little remains of the ground which held 19,094 for an FA Cup 3rd round tie v Watford in January 1936. The club were playing home games at Chesham United after moving out due to a problem with their floodlights. They are now closer to home sharing Yeading FC in a ground across the canal from the blue gas tower.
