Dist:1.0km north<br/>This is in Oswald Road. In 1969 there was a laundry on the site. The Sikh community built the temple themselves, opened in 1971, and extended since.

Dist:1.0km west<br/>Little remains of the ground which held 19,094 for an FA Cup 3rd round tie v Watford in January 1936. The club were playing home games at Chesham United after moving out due to a problem with their floodlights. They are now closer to home sharing Yeading FC in a ground across the canal from the blue gas tower.
