Dist:0.3km<br/>The portion of the wood south of Mackley Industrial Estate is in private hands and not part of the local nature reserve. The footpath is the one that links Small Dole to Fulking and runs east-west through the wood.

Dist:0.3km<br/>The A2037 forming part of the village street. Taken from outside the post office with the village pub, The Fox, at the end of the terrace. The village has grown since the war having been little more than a few cottages scattered along the road from Henfield to Upper Beeding.

Dist:0.4km<br/>A 21 acre site that serves the Hove-Southwick area. Much of the site for tents is beyond the trees though it also includes the woods to the east and south of Hillside Lane.
