It is used as the hotel's bar and brasserie. Behind the buildings construction work is progressing suggesting further expansion of the hotel is planned

The left (western) half dates from the Georgian era and was originally the service wing; the tower was added c. 1870 by E.M. Barry. On the far left is an extension by Thomas Bower dating from 1896. The north and south faces have large stone-dressed carriage archways, topped with shaped gables; the keystones of the arch are carved into horse's heads.
