Dist:0.4km<br/>The name of the field according to the 1838 tithe map that was once part of Halland Park prior to its enclosure in 1788 when the Pelhams moved their family seat to Stanmer House near Brighton. Park Side is the wood at the far end of the field which is also fairly recent having once been part of Shortgate Common which was enclosed in the early 19th century.

Dist:0.5km<br/>Also known as the Wok Inn which is a pub converted into a Chinese restaurant. However, they do host live music so some aspects of the former pub haven't been lost. The building itself is partially in this square as well as TQ4914 and is viewed along the current drive which is an old section of the B2192 which has been straightened.
