Dist:0.3km<br/>The street is mainly residential today, but from the appearance of many of the fronts of the buildings, it would seem that at one time quite a few were in use for businesses. On the right can be seen a building with a large archway, which quite possibly was once a coaching inn.

Dist:0.3km<br/>This nice old house has the date 1715 on its front wall. It also has a huge bulge in its front wall that has pushed out the ground floor dormer window. Thankfully it looks to have been sensitively repaired and the property seems in good condition.

Dist:0.3km<br/>The town of Shipston-on-Stour seems to be just about surviving the downturn, despite the closure of a couple of pubs and hotels. It still has traditional shops including bakers, butchers and an Aladdin's Cave-style antiques shop. It also has some nice architecture. Long may it prosper.

Dist:0.3km<br/>On New Street. Ornate stone and terracotta work give a date of 1892, and the name of Sheldon; the same name appears in modern signage, so a long-established business.
