These two guys had to brace themselves against the breeze as they strolled up the beach at Sennen Cove - even the waves themselves are being blown back by the wind as they break onto the shore. The distinctive "hump" of Cape Cornwall can be seen on the headland on the horizon, and the rocks called The Brisons can be seen slightly to the left.

A sunny day but with poor visibility across Whitesand Bay. The hazy lump of rock on the horizon is The Brisons, SW of Cape Cornwall. Access to the beach at this point is down a steep flight of steps.

The fishermen of Sennen Cove used to be busy with pilchard fishing in the 19th century. Fishing is still continued today but in a minor way.
