Dist:1.0km south<br/>This recently planted hedgerow is unusual in that it goes against the trend of the last 40 years which has seen a large number of hedgerows in the countryside rooted out. This planting may be a consequence of changes in agricultural policy to reward farmers for conservation and land stewardship rather than subsidising production.
